Hoppy Easter

Lately, I've had time to watch a lot of tutorials on new projects, trends, and upcoming events coming out in the paper crafts industry. Lots more baker's twine, more copic coloring, colorful backgrounds, embossing paste, stencils are just a few. I've also noticed, there's been a trend of balloons. From balloon-shaped cards to punch negatives. They're seen everywhere. I decided to base my card on that. I recently purchased my first Imaginisce stamps for my Easter cards this year. In a previous post, I showed the copic coloring markers I used.

I took from a Lawn Fawn technique using negative die-cuts and baker's twine. I did modify my bunny to have a arm out holding the balloon string, which I think looks cute (the original stamp below).
I added spots for my background because I didn't want it to look plain. I also used Lawn Fawn polka dots
for my grass background with copic YG67 Moss. I cut them free-hand using an xacto knife.

Supplies:
Bazzil Textured Cardstock in Beige Creme
Lawn Fawn Polka Dots Cardstock
Stampin' Up! Cardstock Green Swirls (retired) and Whisper White

Simon Says Stamp " Color and Sunshine" Stamp Set

Lego Birthday Card

My son's birthday is coming up next month. Here's a look at his birthday invites, very simple and effective. I made this card using punch art, because I wanted a 3-D effect, like legos. I also added confetti in the primary colors: blue, red, yellow, and green. I stamped my invite, instead of printing them out on cardstock, I was pressed for time and I rather hand-write the invite.

Supplies:
Bazzil Cardstock in Red
Stampin' Up! Cardstock in Gumball Green, Summer Starfruit , Real Red, and Midnight Muse
Stampin' Up! Punches, 1 3/8 circle punch
SU Dimensionals
SU "Look Who's Turning" Stamp Set
Copic Multi-liner in Black
Hero Arts White Pigment Ink

I even made coordinating envelopes on my Simple Score.

Putting Jake together was a easier than Finn, he didn't require too many punch, just small tweaks. And don't forget to add Dazzling Diamonds to his eyes, you have to some a least some glitter in this card!
I hope you enjoy it,

Faux Modern Label Punch

Hello Everyone! Happy Friday!

It's raining outside in Sunny California, so I took today to be in my craft corner all day....Well most of the day. (I've gotta get a better chair)

Faux Modern Label Punch
Today, I've decided to show you a technique of making punch art out of punches you already have! I learned the technique from Mary Fish of Stampin' Pretties. I don't actually have a modern label punch, but now I can create a modern label anytime I want. Goes great with my word window punch.

Supplies:

Modern Label Punch # 120907
Word Window Large # 119857
Whisper White Cardstock #100730
Basic Black Ink #101179
Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set #115370
