O Christmas Tree!

On our lazy Sunday, the kiddies decided we weren't going to be so lazy, lol.  My daughter is going to be making Christmas cards for her classmates and giving out Snowman Soup treats.  So with that in mind, we pulled out our Cricut and started cutting away.

When making classroom cards for any occasion I think it's best to stick with a mini card. But you don't want your hard work and supplies, just getting thrown out and it saves time!

Supplies:
6 in.x 3 in.card, scored at 3in.

Handmade Poppies Part2

So, if you saw I made a handmade poppy using the cricut. So, now I've done a second option, for a little variety on my projects. I started out with the same techniques.

2- 3in. one poppy & shadow
1- 2 3/4in. poppy
2- 2 1/2in. one poppy & shadow
1-2in. poppy
Stickles- Gunmetal
Stickystrip
tattered angels in lavender mist

A total of six flowers, the base in your 3in. shadow icon. Next you crumble and spray them with glimmer mist or spray wash. Following you apply a distress ink and crumble again. When stacking them you want to stack them off-center, to create dimension of petals. Start with shadow base 3in. Then, 2 3/4in, 2 1/2 in. regular - then shadow, 2 in.

* you can curl edges, if you want.

Next, you want to take the stickles and fill in the poppy center with gunmetal, to make it more realistic. Let dry and that's it!
