HandmadeQT: Perry the Platypus
My kiddies love watching Phineas and Ferb. I have starting watching it with them and it makes me laugh. My favorite character by far is Perry or Agent P. He looks so innocent and then puts a hat on before he destroys mad scientists.
This one was great to make and fairly easy.
Supplies:
Hooks & Crochet (Michael's brand) Blue Teal
Bright Orange
White
Black
I & H hook
Magic Circle (6)
Row 1: 2 sc in each around, sl st.
Row 2-7: Increase hdc or sc in each round. (ex. Row 2, is 1 sc or hdc in st, 2 sc or hdc in the next., add a st between increase) sl st in at the end of each round.
Row 8-12: sc around and sl st.
Row 13: Switch colors to orange and sc around slip sitch. Fasten off .
Brim:
use H hook
Now on opposite end sc a row of 18 stitches. You can stitch marker in the middle, 9 on one side and 9 on the other.
Row 1: Sc that 18 stitches.
Row 2-4 Sc across, change one and turn. (Add as many rows as needed for brim)
Row 5: sc all around, including brim for a more finished look.
Eyes: make 2
use H hook
Magic circle (6)
Row 1: 2sc in each round, sl st.
Row 2: sc around, sl st.
(black part) Make 2
Magic circle, tighten, fasten off.
