FoodQT: Golden Chicken Tenders

The kids and I wanted some chicken tenders at home. I decided to prepare my go-to chicken tenders using panko crumbs, so they come out golden brown.

Supplies:
1 1/2 lbs. of chicken breasts, pounded thin and cut into pieces of strips
2 tsp of water
1 egg
2 cups of panko crumbs
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp of pepper
1 tsp of paprika
1 bowl
1 flat plate
1 1/2 c of oil

Heat oil on medium high heat.
1. In a bowl, mix egg, water, and spices. Add, the chicken strips.
If you like you can marinate for 30 mins or bread tenders right away.

2. Work in small sections, take strips out of egg mixture and dip into panko crumbs. Coat well.

3. Make sure oil is hot enough and add into hot oil. Fry for 3-4 minutes betwen both sides or until panko turns a golden brown.

4. Continue until finished.

5.  Serve alongside, 1/3 c of rice , a side of ranch dressing, and cucumber salad.
