FOODQT: Decadent Desserts: Cookies, Krispies, Chocolate

Everyday can be Valentine's Day when making decadent desserts at home. Quick and easy. All you need some yummy supplies. I went to my local craft store to pick up, chocolate melts, marshmallows, krispy rice cereal, butter, bowls, cookie cutter (optional), spatula, and a piping bag. You're also going to need parchment paper, scissors, and a microwave.

I started with making krispy rice treat ..aka "rice krispy treats"
You're going to need some 11x13in. baking pan, pyrex glass pan is best. You can line it with parchment paper for easy cutting later.

Melt butter and marshmallows into a bowl and microwave, until it melts smoothly. 30-45 seconds should do it. Keep a watchful eye, because marshmallows can burn.

Pour and let cool.  You can use the cookie-cutter after they've cooled. If you're going to dip them in chocolate, place in freezer, before you dip them, so they don't fall apart.

Dipped Cookies:

You can store buy or bake your cookies. I used Valentine Day Nestle Tollhouse Cookies. Bake, Cool, and place in freezer for 5-10 minutes.

Dip as little or as much as you like.

Chocolate Phrases:
Place parchment paper down, tape side to keep from riding up. Melt chocolate and pour into a piping bag. Snip the tip at an angle for tiny lettering and for larger snip it further up. Place lettering in freezer.

Enjoy!
