FoodQT: Cinnamon Roll Pancakes

Who doesn't like cinnamon rolls? Cinnamon Roll pancakes are delicious! This is my own pancake recipe, my family enjoys really fluffy pancakes. It was my dad's recipe and I will sometimes add 1/4 teaspoon of butter extract, to give it a buttermilk-like taste. It's very easy to make them to your liking. Also, you will need a Ziploc baggy for mixtures.
  • Supplies:

  • For Pancakes:
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • a pinch of ground cinnamon
  • 1 egg (lightly beaten)

  • Cinnamon Filling:
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon ground cinnamon

  • Cream Cheese Glaze:
  • 4 Tablespoons butter
  • 2 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

To prepare pancakes:

1. Start by making filling and glaze. Set it aside. Prepare your pancake batter.

2. Pour batter on a hot non-stick and buttered skillet.
3. Create a spiral with cinnamon filling, wait til you see bubbles and your bottom of the pancake is golden brown.
3. Add some Cream Cheese Glaze.
